So what  is a Dream 100 campaign?

The term Dream 100 is a strategy referred to in Chet Holmes “The Ultimate Sales Machine”.

It’s a marketing strategy that involves targeting 100 (or whatever number is appropriate) dream clients constantly and relentlessly until they buy your product or service.

The ultimate goal of the Dream 100 is to get yourself noticed by the companies you target, taking you from being unheard of, to being well known.

To do this you send them something everything week until you get a response.

It’s not as easy as just sending a sales letter, you need to send them a physical something through the post.

The ‘physical something’ can be anything, I often opt for the entertaining route, something to make them smile or laugh or if nothing else, just something to remember the company by.

For example, I send a simple McVities Gold Bar, with a designed sales letter saying along the line of “You’re missing out on some real gold”.

Every time I send something out I make sure I follow up, it gives me an excuse to introduce myself and have a quick 5 minute chat with them.

When I call the prospective client after sending that specific item and letter, the recipient is often laughing down the phone.

It works.

They remember it and the relationship starts to grow from there.

And as long as you nurture that relationship (and continue to send out regular mail to them – some of our campaigns last 12 weeks), when they need the service you provide, you’ll be the first person they think of.

I know you’re thinking… Surely it’s not that simple, is it?

Well, ultimately, you’ve gotta reach your audience… the right market.

You’ve gotta use the right medium.

You’ve gotta have the right message.

And you’ve gotta combine all of that with being relentless.
